Mail sending problem with Outlook

I'm using MS XP pro as my OS. And with MS outlook as my
email application.
My pc is operating in our corporate Intranet. I've no
problem of receiving incoming mails from the Intranet or
from the Internet.
But I always have difficulty of sending out mails for both
Intranet and Internet recipients by using this outlook.
Is there anybody there encouter similar problem?
