Mail Views Appear Different on Different Macs

Processor: intel
Email Client: pop

I have Office 2008 installed on two different Macs (one PPC, the other Intel) both running the latest version of Leopard.

The Unread Mail view looks different on the machines - on the PPC Mac (G5), the view appear OK, but read messages still display even when switching to another view. On the Intel Mac, the View appears as a search setting. Defining the view on the machines is different as well - two different ways to define it - one as a search, the other as "Edit Custom View"

This would be better seen if there was a way to submit screen shots

Is this Advanced Find. On my Intel, this window does not show up. It opens
in Spotlight search in the main body.

Are these two for PPC?

Can you describe the scenario for each picture. Did you modify the "unread"
custom view?

These were the links imageshack provided

Those are the two for PPC

I didn't modify the search in any way on the Intel

The images are the same for each scenario:
#1 is the view when looking at the Main Window
#2 is the view when I click on the Mail View in the sidebar which then brings up a list of views, and then double-clicking on the Unread view for each

As I was trying to compare your screenshots with what I see, brings me to a
question.

Are you trying to use Command F, or Option-Command-F when you are in these
views?

No I'm not - I'm just trying to use the Unread Mail View - and again it behaves differently on different machines. It is the same version with all updates
