I am having an issue with several users in my company with Outlook and Word.
All users having the problem are on the newest release of Office 2003, with
all patches, and Windows XP.
Here is the situation.
1. A user will create a new Word Document.
2. A user will Click the File Menu, select "Send To", "Mail Recipient (as
Attachment)"
3. A new window will pop up and have the Document attached. The user will
fill out any applicable boxes (to, subject, ect) and hit send.
All of this is normal. Now is where it "breaks".
4. The message sends, but the mail window just hangs there. All toolbars are
greyed out and unclickable, and the X in the top right does nothing. When you
click on the File Menu, all options are greyed out, including close. The only
way to close that Mail Window is to click on the task from the Task bar at
the bottom and select "Close".
I've researched through the forums for a bit now and had no success. Can
anyone help?
