Mailbox full but is not full

We have a user who is unable to send or recieve mail and she gets the
followirg NDR "unable to send email mailbox full but not mailbox not full".
I have checked her mailbox size against the mailbox size limits and have
also increased the limits but she is still unable to send and recieve.

This is only affecting this one user so it is not a central system setting.

Please help
