One of my staff uses Office 2003 SP1 with Windows XP SP2, fully updated. Once
in a while she will reply to an e-mail and when she tries to click on send
the Mailbox Cleanup dialog box appears. Unless we click on empty deleted
items, she cannot send the reply. This is understandable in most situations
however, her mailbox is not full. I have checked our exchange 5.5 server and
her mailbox is not nearly as large as some of our other users that have the
same setup. When we look in her deleted items, she usually has under 1mb of
e-mail. I have run across some suggestions on several sites and I have done
the following to try and remedy it:
I have run the Microsoft Inbox repair tool
Ran detect and repair and finally uninstalled Office 2003 and re-installed.
I can't make the mailbox full message happen when I want so I can't say it
worked. I do know that when I went back into her Outlook, all of her settings
were identical, layout, signature etc...
Any help would be most appreciated. Luckily my user is very patient.
