Mailed out vCards have blank space at 22nd character

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

Whenever I forward or enclose a vCard into an email, the email address in the vCard has a blank space at the 22nd character of the address. For instance, if I mail out a vCard with this address (e-mail address removed), when the vCard is opened, the email address looks like this:

joseph_smith@microsof t.com

I've installed Entourage 2008 onto a second computer in our office and the same issue is happening.

I'm reproducing this as well. Report this problem using the Help -->
Send Feedback tool in any Office application. I will also report this to
my contacts at Microsoft. The more reports, the better.
