Which of the MS Office programs would be ideal for creating/saving my
shipping addresses and then printing the labels on an avery sheet?

Word seems VERY complex for a mail merge when you have to do 30 labels at a
time per sheet, all of the addresses unique

A combination of OL, contacts, and Word for Label merge.
or Access if you have that app in yr suite.

Take a look at Avery DesignPro. It's free from the Avery Web Site and is much
more versatile than the Word Wizard. IIRC there's also a for purchase version
with more features.
