Mailmerge+HTML+Outlook+Word

Hi, I am in trouble when I try to use word 2003 to make an HTML email, and
send it to a mail list using mail merge.

The matter is, the message does not want to keep formatted as I did in the
HTML editor of word 2003. When I send the message, by outlook, the talbes
kept out of place; and ALL IMAGES look in very bad resolution, doesn't matter
if I save it as JPG, GIF... Actually the image in the sent messages, look in
a quality inferior than it is in fact! What can I do? Is there any tutorial
teaching how to send HTML email to a mailing list using word + outlook +
mailmerge?

Why the message is not similar, when I see in the "Web Page Preview" of word
and in the received messages of Outlook?

Thanks!

1. The appearance of the HTML at the receiving end depends in any case on
what the user at that end is using to view it. You can't control that.

2. The HTML generated by Word is very idiosyncratic (it is very concerned
with being able to "round-trip" Word features and less concerned with
generating good standards-based HTML) and probably rather old-fashioned now,
so it is unlikely to work as well as HTML that is specifically generated to
arrive in someone's Inbox

3. You /might/ be able ot improve your image resolution using the options in
Word Tools|Options|General|"Web Options"|Pictures and Word
Tools|Options|General|"Web Options"|Browsers, but you'll have to see for
yourself.

Personally, I'd put my document up on the web either in HTML format or in
other useful formats (.doc, .pdf) and sent a plain text e-mail with a link
