I don't know if anyone remembers, but about 5 months ago
I was have problems with my mailmerge. Well, my harddrive
died on me and I got a whole new system. THings have been
fine since.
Well, in the last week I have been noticing anomolies
again with my mailmerge. I have Office 2003 on my
computer now.
I'm noticing that new entries to my database of people in
my mailmerge are not coming up when I search.
Specifically, I entered a new entry on Friday. I was
writing a letter to that person today, and clicked on
my "find entry" button, and it didn't find the person.
I then went into the "edit Data Source" form, and it
found it that time. THis was the same problem I was
having before.
I don't know if this makes a difference, but I added this
person's entry over top of an old entry I didn't need
anymore.
Do I have to disconnect me database and reconnect it to
the form? This would be a pain as I use over 50 forms
daily, with over 500 clients in my database. I can't
constantly refresh it by making it a "normal word
document" and then reconnecting the file to the database
over and over again!
