Mailmerge

What do I have to do to get "Mailmerge" to move the
leading zeros to the documents (especially the
envelopes). Many of the zip codes that I use are in New
England and they start with leading zeros, these do not
transfer to the envelope file.. When I print them they
show only a 4 digit zip code.

Add a formatting switch as shown to the mergefield that returns the zip code

{ MERGEFIELD "ZIP" \# "00000"}

Doug,

I've tried adding the formatting switch below to the mergefield just as it
looks below, but it still returns a lack of a leading zero. Why is that? MS
OFfice 2003.

It works here with Word 2003.
