Mailmerged document to e-mail (as attachement) contains marco's?

I'm trying to mailmerge a document by automaticly merge to electronic mail.
The documents are send as attachements.

This works fine but the generated documents in the e-mail message contains
the same macro's as they are in the original mail-merge document. This is
strange because when I merge the mail-merge document to a new document
without merging to e-mail, the macro's will be deleted.

Any suggestions?

I am not sure how you are doing it, but it won't happen if you use the
procedure in the article "Mail Merge to E-mail with Attachments" at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/MergeWithAttachments.htm

Thank you for your reply.

Maybe I did not make my problem quite clear. I'm not trying to send e-mail
with additional attachements; I'm only trying to mailmerge to e-mail with use
of the standard fuctionality in MS Word. Anyway this works fine; The e-mail
will be sent correctly and the Mailmerged document will be sent as an
attachement. But.....

The document which is send by e-mail contains macro's. I don't want the
macro's to be included. Normally, when merging to a new document (without
merging to e-mail) the macro's won't be included in the merged document.

I hope I did make my problem clear now, and I hope someone has a answer for
this.

I think you will have to manually delete the macro from the mailmerge main
document before executing the merge.
