Mails sent does not end up in Sent folder

I use Win XP, Outlook 2003

I used to have a POP3 account but have now changed to an imap account.

First:
When I send a mail I find the mail not in my imap Send folder but in my old
POP3 Sent folder (note - I have removed the POP3 account and have only the
imap account now). I also recieve a mail from the System administrator in my
old POP3 Inbox that says that the mail could not be relayed to the person I
wanted to mail to. However, checking with my ISP the mail did go through.

The only time my sent mails actually end up in the correct mailbox is when I
send a mail from my webmail.

Second:
In the left part of the Outlook screen I see Inbox and under that my
customer folders that I have created earlier (when POP3 account existed). The
imap account is shown at the very bottom. I would like to see the imap
account up top expanded when I open Outlook and not my old POP3 folders. The
Inbox that now is showing at the top can not recieve mails anymore (other
than the error messages mentioned above).

Can I also simply pull my customer folders from my POP3 Inbox to my imap
inbox so they belong under the correct Inbox?

Heelp!

Of course. Normal. The Sent Items folder is the Sent Items folder of your
delivery location. In Outlook 2003, IMAP account folder sets can never be
the delivery location folders. You'll need to create an outgoing message
rule that copies the message to the IMAP folder.

Can you post an example of one of those messages (masking any real mail
address it might contain, however - real addresses shouldn't be posted in
USENET).

Can't be done.

Sure. Did you try? By the way, I'd avoid making subfolders of Inbox and
put your customer folders at the same level as Inbox.
