mailto: command and Office

I have a user that wants to merge a word document to
Lotus Notes and automatically send an email to the
predefined recipient in the merged documents. I have
found I can use the mailto: command from IE to open a
Notes email with the designed recipient, but I am not
certain how to do so from Office or to have the email
automatically sent. Any thoughts?
