Mailto: FAX

Lasse

Hi

We have a customer who wants to be able to send out FAX through Outlook and
Microsoft FAX service.

If I try to run the command "Mailto: FAX:12345678" it opens a e-mail with
"FAX:12345678" as recipient. If I try to send this it won't work because the
recipient is not in the contact list.
Is there any way I can use the Mailto command and send a fax without the
recipient is in the contact list?

Best regards
Lasse

Hi Lasse,
Don't use the "Mail to" option.
Click File
Send to:
Fax recipient.
This opens the fax wizard where you can enter the recipient address.

Hi Dave

The problem is that I need it to do all these things without user input. So
when a user pushes the FAX button in the 3rd party software a mail opens up
and the fax number is automatically entered, the only thing the user is
required to do is press send!

Regards
Lasse
