Main task %completion not getting updated based on subtask-value

am facing some strange issue in MS project. After updating the % completion
for any subtask, it is not getting reflected for main task. Because of this
the project % of completion value is always shown very less. This was not
happening earlier.

If I open same file on any other machine the values get auto updated. I
tried reinstalling the software.
MS Project Professional 2003 SP2

Please let me know if any one knows the solution for the same

There are several percent's in Projects. The one that does not update the
resource is Percent of Work. Make sure you are useing % Complete.

Did you look at your calculation setting to make sure it was set to Auto?
(Tools>Options>Calculation)
