Maintain a skill set information base?

How do I maintain a skill set information base so assignments can be made
based on availability and expertise? Also, does it fall on one person to set
up this skills inventory process and database or the project managers for
their input?

Nancy --

You would need to set up at least one custom enterprise Resource outline
code to track skills. If you use enterprise Resource outline code 20-29,
you can set multiple values for each resource. You might ask your PM's to
gather the information for you about each resource, but ultimately, you will
need someone with Project Server administrator permissions to enter the
actual information about each resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool.
