Maintaining actuals and percent complete

Our actuals are automatically applied to our plans via a 3rd party timesheet
integration tool. After the plans are updated, we contact the resources to
determine their percentage complete for each assignment. When I update the
percent work complete, the actuals are altered. Is there a best practice for
keeping a plan up-to-date with actuals and percent complete?

Hi Mike,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Yes - don't use percentages. Enter Actual Work followed by Remaining Work
and let Project calculate the percentages for you.
