I'm using Word 2003 to create a document with a lot of numbered lists. I've
modified the first-level list number style to have a .25" indent (the dreaded
'Automatically update' checkbox is NOT checked). When I apply the style to my
second numbered list and restart the numbering, the numbering works fine but
the indent resets to 0". Short of applying direct formatting to dozens of
numbered lists, how can I restart the numbering for each list and still
maintain the indent I need?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help
