Greetings,
I'm running Entourage from Office 2004. And I have a font problem with
html emails that I receive. The type in much of the email looks all
jumbled up. Completely illegible. But sometimes where the font size is
different, such as a heading, it's fine. Or where it's italicized, it's
fine. And it happens in all the HTML emails. Not just those from a
specific source.
The most aggravating part of it is that I've uninstalled and
re-installed the entire Office 2004 application twice to try and rid
myself of this problem. And last time, I thought that the problem was
fixed. But THEN, when the auto updater program ran, it said that there
was an update for Office 2004. So, I downloaded it and installed the
update. And now my font problem is back.
I suppose I could just uninstall and re-install again. But I want the
latest update running for whatever else it's SUPPOSED to be fixing.
Besides, I've paid money for the darn program, I want the darned thing
to work the way it's supposed to.
I wish I could attach a jpeg to illustrate what's happening with the
typeface. It looks like a sentence is made up of all "special
characters" letter with accents and umlauts and crap and there's no
spacing between the characters, they're overlapping as if the kerning
has collapsed.
Anybody have any clues?
