Reckoning
I have OneNote 2003 (11.6360.6360) SP1 and am trying to print out to an
Epson Stylus photo 890 local printer which is running the latest driver.
OneNote seems to have great difficulty in printing out documents. I have one
document which I set to print 1 page and it took between 10 and 15 minutes.
When I tried to print out the whole thing it created a spool file that was
over 150MB!.
I noticed a thread (http://tinyurl.com/6dj32) dated in February where Lin
Wang from OneNote mentioned that this is a known issue and is being worked
on. Lin, or anyway else who knows, do you have an eta for when this fix
might be available? This is causing great problems and means we can't print
out any documents at the moment unless we start them at night and leave it
going.
You mentioned a work around regarding publishing the pages and printing from
IE, unfortunately I can't do this as the html that is generated is not
formatted correctly. For instance tables created in onepage are all over the
place when viewed in IE. Anything else I can do to get around this problem
until a fix is released?
Kind regards
Steve
