major problem with database

M

Miguel

Hi,

this is a problem I've encountered several times
suddenly the acces database get's corrupted for a unknown
reason

I don't get the possibility to repair the database
instead i get unexpected error 3015

while pressing f1 the screen opens but none of the forms
query's or tables ar vissible

i get " isn't an index in the table look in the
indexcollection of the table def object to determine the
valid index name

when i try to open the tablad tables i get invalid
without a current index

I would very much like to know if there is a way to bypass
these faults so that i at least can
copy the data from the tables

the only way to start again is putting a backup instead
meaning all the data wich was put in after the backup is
lost

any help is more than welcome

Miguel.

From the Access Corruption causes FAQ:

3015 - "'databasename.mdb' isn't an index in this table. Look in the
Indexes collection of the TableDef object to determine the valid index
names." See ACC: Jet Database Engine 3.x Error Messages Due to
Corruption - 182867. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=182867. These
two messages in Access 97 can usually be fixed by downloading the
latest version of Jet 3.51. Jet 3.5 SP 3 This problem also existed in
Access 95 but hopefully no one is still using that version of Access.
