hello

I am looking for solution to make a copy of the incoming email to an archive
folder for different types of email account.

1/ how to make this happen when outlook is not running. (I am not sure how
to configure server rule)
2/ the mail account is a group mail account. There are 3 users accessing
such account via shared mail box. If the outlook rule is run at the client
side, how to make only 1 copy instead of 3 copies of of such email
3/ how to sent up client rule so that all incoming email will have a copy
in arhcive folder.
a/ The incoming email account is not an exchange email account. It is a
redirected mail. (email is sent to (e-mail address removed). Via forward rules, email is
sent to email account (e-mail address removed) which is created in a different exchange
server)
b/ The incoming email account is an exchange group email account.
c/ The incoming email account is an exchange email account.

Any info will be much appreciated.....

Since you're using Exchange, you should look into "message journaling" on
the mailbox-store level, on the server itself, rather than mucking around
with rules in Outlook (which won't work as well and will be a PITA even if
you can make it work). Journaling will send a copy of all inbound and
outbound mail, per mail store, to the mailbox (or external address) of your
choice.

You haven't mentioned your version of Exchange, but you should post in
microsoft.public.exchange.admin for the most help with Exchange
