Make a Disk Folder Into a Web

On my hard drive, under "My Webs," I have a number of folder for sites I've
created. In Frontpage 2003, most of the folder have special icons that
indicate that these are websites. A few, however, are just plain old (manila
file folder) subdirectory icons. For no good reason, this offends my sense
of order. (A glance at my desk, if you could see it, would send you into
uncontrollable laughter after that line.)

Is there a way to convert a standard folder icon into a website folder icon?
(The sites within the folders with generic icons work and publish just
fine.)

TIA,

Alex

FP normally handles that if the folders are all webs or subwebs that have been created in FP
But you can also try to use windows explorer to update your folder icons

Find the file desktop.ini in one of your web folder w/ the web icon in it and copy it to the other folder
w/o the web icon in it
Then find the folder icon file fpdbw.ico (in the hidden folder _vti_pvt) and copy it to that folder in your other FP web in its
_vti_pvt folder

The Content of desktop.ini will look something like
[.ShellClassInfo]
IconFile=_vti_pvt/fpdbw.ico
IconIndex=0
ConfirmFileOp=0
InfoTip=Stores your local web site

PS
Even after you do this some folders may not display the web folder icon
