Make a meeting delay to attendees calenders

Hi,

Has anyone else had the problem of using the 'make a meeting' and inviting
several people, only to have the meeting show up on some attendees
immediately and others sometimes not for hours or days later. I am not sure
what setting I am neglecting to check. Any ideas?
