As far as I know it's not possible to query the file system as if it
were a data source.
Recent versions of Access have the Application.FileSearch property,
which seems to offer similar facilities to the Windows file search.
Before then, people wrote recursive code to search folders using the VBA
Dir() function; an internet or newsgroup search should find several
examples.
