make a sound when a certain value is reached in a specific cell

I would like to have a sound generated when a sum in a specific cell is been
surpassed

Right click on sheet tab, view code, paste this in.

Private Sub Worksheet_Calculate()
If Range("A2").Value > 5 Then Beep
End Sub

Modify as needed.
