make a table of invalid records in access

B

Blenheim

I have imported some data into access into 3 different tables.
I have set up some validation rules and want to produce a table of all
records that don't meet these rules.
Is there an easy way to do this?
Ideally I would like to combine all rejected records into 1 reject table.

Blenheim,

Yes, you can use an Append Query to select all the invalid records and
then write them to the reject table.

if you were to use SQL Server you could drop failing records into a log
file.. it's called the 'Multi-Phase DataPump'.

MDB is for retards and lepers.. it doesn't have real ETL capabilities;
and it never will
