Make all tasks assigned to a resource happen in serial?

Man, there's a lot of spam in this group. I wonder if anyone will
even see my question.

Anyway, in other project management software I have used, if I make
three tasks all assigned to a single, identical, resource, the system
will automatically serialize the tasks so they do not overlap in
time. Is there a way to make MS Project 2007 Professional do that?
