I have to say 2007 does rock, except for the bullets...
So you want to copy a bulleted list from one presentation to another. You
have a custom template with really cool shiney bullets. You past the stuff in
there choose "use template formatting" on the little smart tag. What do you
get... ? Well I can't really figure out the ryhme or reason as to what you'll
get, it never seems to be just what you want, and it definately doesn't match
the bullets. So you choose "text only" on the smart tag, you might get the
right bullets now but all the indentations are removed. Ok fine, you find a
work around or re-type the stuff... but seems like it should be smart enough
to let you use the template bullets.
Now lets say you create a NEW text box, create a nice little list and decide
to bulletize, what do you get? Little black dots, not your cool shiney
template bullets. How do you get your cool shiney bullets??? A lot of tedious
work of copying and pasting.
If I am missing something here please let me know, but from here the bullets
in 2007 are just as much a pain in the arse as there were in Office XP. FIX
THE DARN BULLETS. Anyone else agree?
