Make cells blink and/or another display in another color in an IF statement

Is there a way to make a cell blink and/or display contents in color
in IF statement returns?

=IF(x1=0,x2,x3)

Blink contents if x2 is returned
Display contents in a different color if x3 is returned.

I agree with you both regarding blinking cells - a distraction,
nothing to contribute.

I did look at Conditional Formatting. Works like a charm. Now using
nested equations with feedback in colors.

I should take a few days off, get away from our snow-bird crop here in
Sarasota, FL, and head south, sit on a beach and dive into the
extensive capabilities of Excel. Much more to take advantage of that
I am missing. :-(
