make changes to internet calendar in 2007

Is it possible for other people (whom I've invited) to make changes to a
private calendar I've published (we all have OL 2007)? I was hoping this
would be the answer to our department's shared calendar needs. Well, even if
it's not possible, the calendar overlay is worth the upgrade. :)

No it's not - it's one of the main failures of Internet Calendar
subscription in Outlook IMHO.

However there is another option - install a Webdav shared calendar on a
network drive.

That's a shame. I got the impression this internet calendar thing was the
solution for people who aren't on an Exchange server and allowing everyone to
contribute to the calendar would have been a logical feature to include. But
a possible workaround, at least for my department, is for each of us to have
our own calendars and subscribe to each others'. With the overlay, I probably
won't notice the difference.

Thanks for the reply!

That's interesting. I read about WebDav in Microsoft's help files but I
didn't really understand. The link you included looks much more helpful. :)

I've been having problems getting my shared calendar to update on other
people's computers but it sounds like with WebDav that's all taken care of.
Thanks for the info and the link!
