Make Excel X more like Excel 98

I finally moved into the world of Microsoft Office X and overall, I like it more
than Office 98--except some of the quick commands and shortcuts
misdsing from Excel. How can I get back the wonderful Apple-B & Apple-K,
which I used constantly. Also, Cutting-and-pasting from another source
now makes my paste copy into a single column. I'll prob. get used to the
new way (which isn't so new anymore) bu I'd love to keep my old habits if
possible.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Most of the CMD(Apple)-<letter> shortcuts that changed from XL98 were
replaced with CTRL-<letter>, so Delete is now, by default, CTRL-k. This
was done to make the shortcuts align with WinXL shortcuts.

You can either get used to them, or redefine your keyboard shortcuts.
For instance, Choose Tools/Customize... Click the Keyboard button. Find
the Delete command and enter CMD-k in the "new shortcut key" textbox,
then click Add. You'll be told that you're overriding an existing
shortcut.

Note that in Panther, you can also define an OS-level keyboard shortcut
for any menu command in any application. Choose System
Preferences/Keyboard and Mouse/Keyboard Shortcuts. Scroll to the bottom
of the shortcut list and enter a new shortcut under Application Keyboard
Shortcuts.
