Make images searchable

I disabled text recognition in pictures. Now I want it back but
retroactively. How can I make the images in 200+ files searchable? I don't
want to go "right click" on over 500 images!

Does anyone know of a batch/ VB code to do it?

Tools--> Options, Other has a checkbox to disable text recognition. Check to
see if that box is checked. If so, uncheck it and see if that brings back
your recognition for images.(I don't know if it will do the previous ones,
but I am thinking it might.)

In case Kathy's suggestion does not work to enable automatic OCR on all
of the images:
Go through the notebooks, right-click on the images and then select
recognize the text in the image.

VB and or other scripting is not available in ON (a powerful API,
however).
