Make menus transparent

For products like the office suite Microsoft should make the menu constructs
(the entire interface) transparent. Allow the user to view items like the
paper in word as floating obects with varying levels of visable menu. This
way one can always see the desktop and the applications themselves can take
up less desktop real estate.

Realizing of course it would make it even more of a resource hog in the
graphics adapter department. I prefer to kill the pretty stuff and put
the menus to the sides and use the real-estate more efficiently instead.
