Make Outlook 2003 Business Contact Manager compatible with Window.

Jeremy Wilkes

As a growing small business, I've been using Outlook 2003 with Business
Contact Manager for handling my customer data, including latest Update and
SP1. I'm in the process of migrating to Windows Small Business Server 2003.
Meanwhile, I've replaced my first mobile phone with a Windows Mobile 5
device, but find that this is incompatible with the BCM for Pocket PC Add-In.
It would be great if these two products from Microsoft aimed at my market
were compatible. Any plans?

Jeremy,

I hate to do the classic Microsoft bash here but reading your post makes me
wonder if the giant Redmond bureacracy hasn't outgrown it's own capacity for
sensible coordination. Too often things appear to operate like our monstrous
federal government whereby the left hand doesn't seem to know what the right
hand is doing. Such autonomous non-coordinated releases like this are
laughable and really unfortunate for a so called industry leader.

It is truly sad that the BCM group does not even acknowledge WM 5.0. I can
not find a thing about it on the site or any information if MS even plans a
WM 5.0 client. So in the interim we look for CRM alternatives and move are
clients to those alternatives.
