Make Outlook the default email client

B

Bob Daniels

I am having trouble getting Windows XP to recognize Outlook 2003 as the
default email client. I go to Tools--Options--Other Tab; and there I check
the box to make Outlook the default program for email, contacts and calendar.
But when I send email from another office application or Internet Explorer,
it still brings up Outlook Express. I go into Outlook Express
Tools--Options--General Tab, and it knows it is not the default client.
Would appreciate any suggestions.

Sure Bob,

Do this
Open Internet Explorer,
Click on "Tools"
Click on "Internet Options"
Click on the "Programs Tab"

You will see it here. Change the "Email" from OE to Outlook.

Cheers,
Clayton
