Make Photo Gallery from Existing Server Folder

Hey folks,

I'm just getting going on a family website and Front Page 2002 is a
little uncooperative.

I need to upload folders of images at work with DSL, and compose the
pages at home with dialup.

Somehow, I started a "new web" and got Front Page to reference a local
subfolder "images" to make the photo gallery, but when published
properly link to the same subfolder with the same images on the
server. But I was so confused and fumbling at the time, I don't know
how I did it!

The only problem I have with the result is that it published the "new
web" (with a bunch of clutter) to my top host folder (httpdocs), not
to a sub-folder where I wanted it. I'm planning to make sub-folders
for all my photo sets and manually link them to a home page. It seems
simplest since I can't manage the whole site from home with my slow
connection.

Is my thinking on the right track? If so, how the heck do I do it?
Front Page wants to start all "new webs" from the "My Webs" folder,
and not place it further down the path as I'd like to on the server.

I suggest you just use your computer at home. I've used a dial-up for years
with no problems. Hope you've optimized all the photos carefully, though.
