Make toolbar longer to fit all buttons?

Is it possible to make a toolbar longer? My drawing toolbar has plenty of
extra screen space to fit all of those extra "more buttons", but it won't
expand to hold them all. It just stops part way across the page and then I
have to click the arrow for "more buttons". Is this adjustable?

I've also run into this with other toolbars.

It's not adjustable, because the "more buttons" triangle is actually a
separate individual control which displays the additional buttons (much
like a drop-down menu does on the menu bar) - the buttons aren't on the
toolbar itself, and the toolbar isn't truncating.

You can place the controls on any of your toolbars by choosing
Tools/Customize/Toolbars/Menus..., finding the control in the commands
pane, and dragging it to your toolbar of choice.
