making a banner

i am trying to make a banner for relay for life,,, our walk athon is next
week and i can't figure it out

please help me if possible asap

Word processing programs are not designed for projects of that nature -
especially not MS Word. If for no other reason, the maximum page size is
22"x22"... hardly sufficient for what could be described accurately as a
banner.

If you have MS Publisher you'd be better off using that. Otherwise you'll
need to shop around for appropriate software. If your printer is capable of
printing on banner paper (continuous roll) perhaps some type of utility
program came with it.
