How do I make the text within a text box disappear when it is clicked on? For example my text box says "type here" and I want this to disappear when a student double clicks there to type their own words.

Hello Daisye21;

Three options I can think of:

1- Insert a PLACEHOLDER Field, but I've found them to be a bit finicky in
Text Boxes - Spaces in the message don't show up as well as a few other
curiosities... And I can't find any documentation on them at all, or

2- Insert a MACROBUTTON Field set to the following;

MACROBUTTON NoMacro [Type Here]

The instruction is selected with a single click although it doesn't
disappear until the user begins to type their content, or

3- The easiest on everyone :) Just leave it as it is & give directions to
"select & replace" the instructional content... A triple-click will select
the entire message (as long as it is no more than 1 paragraph), obviating
the need for any fields at all.
