Making a text box or data uneditable

Hello,

Is there a way to make specific data on a PPT slide uneditable or protected?

For example - say I have a presentation that has a table in it.. In that
table I have 2 columns - one for targets and one for actuals.. and I dont
want anyone to be able to update the targets - but the actuals would need to
be updated..

Any way to do this?
