Making big spreadsheets

Hello People,

Does anyone know why Excel or Access won't let you import
when you have reached 65K records? I have tried to import
a bunch of spreadsheets into one big table (marketing
stuff) and Excel and Access won't let me import anymore!

Please Advise!

Hi Gabe,

I have never imported into Access near that number. But as for Excel, 65k is
it! Keep scrolling down in Excel, and you'll see that at 65k rows, you cant
scroll no more :)

Access has a file size limitation, I think it's 1GB for A97 and 2GB for A2K.

What happens when you import?? Any error messages?? Does Access just
freeze? or what?
