Making e-card in FP2003

I'm trying to make an e-card in fp2003 to send out thru OE

In fp2003 I design the page as I want it to look, making sure all the
pictures have the full url of my website.

When I send a test to myself - everything looks great except the pics are
missing. Is there another way to do this - or after I have pasted the full
code into the source of the email - do I then have to go back to 'edit' and
paste the pictures back in? That seems to work - but I thought having the
full url of the picture on my published website was the way to go?

I do this quite often and I have set up a type of template for e-cards. (I
say "type of" because it only works because I know what to change every
time)

But, briefly, just publish a page to your web server that looks exactly like
you want it to.

Then, do not try to paste the content of the page into the email, but just
add a link to the page

e.g. http://mysite.mydomain.com/ecard1.html
