In the VBA editor, go to Tools > Project Properties. On the Protection tab,
check the "Lock project for viewing" box and enter a password.
A bit of advice: Keep a copy of the template that you don't distribute to
anyone else, and don't password-protect that copy. Sure as anything, if you
don't do this you will forget/lose the password and not be able to open your
own project.
