Hello ________- [We prefer to use names whenever possible:)]

Everything you need to know is in WORD HELP under the topic of Data Merge.
It's the same for name badges as it is for mailing labels or other similar
projects - the only real difference is the layout of the material you're
printing on.

See the information on Create a Data Source... as well. Your list of names
needs to be set up in an Excel list (or as a Word table) with captions
(field names) in the first row in order to simplify the process. Other
sources can be used as well as long as they're set up appropriately based on
those same guidelines.

Once you have the Main document populated with fields from the Data Source
you can format as you normally would. The changes just has to be made to
each of the labels (badges) which appear a table cells in the Main document.

If you have a problem or need help on a specific issue don't hesitate to
post it here - just be sure to give a full description of the matter.

Since you tacked onto another thread pertaining to name badges I assume
you're wanting to put the same image on each badge (label).

Although written specifically for PC Word the same principal applies in the
Mac version. It's a PITA to create but once you get the Main document setup
& saved you can reuse it.

If that's not what you're looking for please post a NEW message rather than
replying to a totally different topic. It would also help to know what
version of Word you're using as well as which OS X version and a complete
and accurate description of what you're trying to accomplish.

Yes, I want to use the same image on all of the badges. If it is easier to do on a PC, I can do that, but I would be also be interested in knowing how to do it on a Mac. I am using Office 2008, version 12.0.1 and Os X 10.5.2.

Thanks!
