Making OHotFix.exe more silent

B

Bill Bradley

I'm using a combination of setup.ini and MST files and OHotFix to install
the Select/Enterprise version of Office 2003 Pro Suite + FrontPage + OneNote
+ SP2 in one fell swoop, but am having some problems with OHotFix.

My setup.ini contains three chainedinstall sections, one for FrontPage, one
for OneNote, and the third for OHotFix. I'm running the Setup.exe file with
the /qb-! to give me a progress bar and to get rid of the Cancel Button on
it.

While this works for the Suite and FrontPage and OneNote, when SP2 (the
Suite and the OneNote versions, both Full-File) starts to install, the
Cancel Button is back.

The ORK documentation and articles state that the switches applied to the
setup.ini file will carry over to the chained installs, but...obviously they
don't.

What do I need to do in the SP2 part to remove the button (I DO want the
progress bar, and, Successful Completion message).

TIA!
