Making Outlook the Default Mail Client

How do you make Outlook the default email client? I get an error message
when trying to open Calendar items, which says "to start outlook and set it
as the default client" but cannot find any menu/command/setting for doing
that.

I am using Outlook w/ Office 2000 under Win2K-SP4./
