Hello, i have abit of a problem. I am writing a scientific report in school
and i want to add page numbering to my report. The tricky thing is that i
want the page numbering to start on page 3 instead of page one where i have a
blank page and on page two were the table of contents is.. My teacher have
told me to do so but i am new to this Office suite so i dont know how to
do... Also im swedish and im using a english version of the office suite
which makes it even harder to understand... Please help me somebody!

Did you know i am using Word 2007? Because i can't find a break under the
insert tab only a "page break".. But if we are referring to different
versions of word it isnt hard to understand i can't find it... Anyway I AM
using Microsoft Word 2007 English Version (with the 1033 buildblock folder)
and i still can't find any "Break" in the Insert tab.. /Dearest Regards

Hello again... I'm having a bit of trouble with what you suggested... You see
i use Microsoft Word 2007 English version (with 1033 buildblock folder) and i
watched as you said under the Insert tab for a "Break" button but found none.
What i found instead was a "Page Break" button but i don't know if that is
the right one.. Also i would be glad if you could describe the process a
little easier since i am a true newbeginner and also a Swede who isn't that
great on English! /Dearest Regards

Well, you didn't mention the Word version in your original post. The
principles remain the same in Word 2007, but finding the tools to implement
them is reportedly much harder. I'm afraid I can't help with that since I'm
not running Word 2007 yet.

Surprising or not, as the case may be, in Word 2007 Section Breaks are on
the "Page Layout" tab.

As the Help would have told you, if you have queried for "section" in the
Word 2007 help.

Please don't expect Suzanne to write your book FOR you :)

Cheers
