Making Page Tabs Easy to Distinguish

R

Is there a way to make the page tabs easier to distinguish visually? From
searching the newsgroup, it seems that fonts cannot vary tab by tab, nor can
the color. Is there some other way to make it easy to scan the column of
tabs and distinguish one tab (or category of tabs) from another?

No. The tabs can not be changed.

IMHO they are to distinguish easy enough.
Just curious: Which kind of visual differentiation would you like to
have?

Actually you can change the tab colours.

I understand it is only the Section tabs that can be custom coloured.
Page tabs cannot.

I think the OP is asking about Page Tabs, not Section Tabs. Section Tabs
can have their colors changed, and all Page Tabs inherit the same color as
the Section they're contained in.

You cannot change the color of formatting of individual Page Tabs.

Sorry, wrong.
The OP asked about *PAGE*TABS* (see above).
Those can not be changed. Only the color of the Section Tabs can be
changed.

Since page tab colors cannot be changed or modified, I sometimes use
different kinds of page title leaders to distinguish my pages. For example
---August Trip--- and then use the pages after that for my notes. The ---'s
stand out very well for a header page.

Or you could use group pages. I think those are the only 2 options.
