Making Photo Editor the default image editor

I started with a clean system, installed Office 2003, then yesterday did the
selective install of trusty old MPE from my Office XP disc.

I can drag photos/pictures into an open Photo Editor window, but how can I
make it the default editor such that if I double-click on a GIF, JPG, BMP,
TIFF, or other image file, Photo Editor is started as opposed to some other
editor?

I tried going in to File Types and pointing to an executable, but I can't
seem to find one for Photo Editor. If you look at the Photo Editor shortcut
in the All Programs list, you'll see that its some nonstandard thing:
"'Target' Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage".

Oh, one more thing - I never see any options to customize inside Photo
Editor. Is there a way you can change certain behaviors, such as not asking
if you want to save a picture upon closing it?

Thanks in advance,

In Office XP, the Photo Editor executable file is "C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\PhotoEd\photoed.exe". You should search your hard
drive for the photoed.exe file to see where it is located. Then see
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=307859 "How to change file associations in
Windows XP".

Thanks g-n-o! I guess I just didn't know what or where the executable file
for Photo Editor was! I'm all set now.
